Why should I choose an epoxy floor coating?

Even the best laid concrete floors will begin to break down and deteriorate over time. This can cause cracks, divots, and chips to appear in your concrete floor. With a professionally installed epoxy floor system, your concrete will be sealed and protected from the elements that can cause damage to your concrete while giving you an easy to clean and beautiful floor.

Should I replace or repair my concrete?

Re-pouring concrete can be an expensive and extensive remedy for your concrete damage. As part of our process, we repair minor damaged areas in the concrete to improve the look of your floor, as well as strengthen and rebuild the damaged concrete. We will address any pitting, scaling, or cracks that have developed in your concrete over the years due to salt & chemical exposure, as well as movement of your concrete due to expansion and contraction.

How long does the installation process take?

It all depends on the size of the space we are going to work on, and also varies by the choice of the floor material. Usually we are installed in one or two day, depending on the size & type of the space.sIt can demand from one day up to three days depending on the floor material on an average garage size floor.

Depending on the type of flooring your choose, and other factors like time of year and temperature, the curing process may take up to 3-5 days before your floors are completely cured. In most cases, you can walk on your new floors after 24 hours of the final application, however, you will need to wait at least 72 hours before you start replacing household items and furniture or vehicles.

What do I have to do for prepare your arrival?

The owner or general contractor will have to make the place ready for the execution of the work and to remove any equipment and accessories which could be problematic and this before our arrival. Also the owner must provide a minimum required electrical installation of 110V, 15A, for the execution of the work

Is there any preparation before installing a floor?

Yes, before starting anything, we prepare the concrete to be used for the installation process. While we are doing the magic mix, we thoroughly inspect every section of the floor for any oil stain that needs to be removed using degreasing products, while also repairing minor cracks that we may find on the surface. After everything is done, we start with the installation of the new epoxy floor.

Will there be any odor during the process?

Yes, you can expect odor throughout the process. The most odorous stage will be the final day when we apply the clear coats.
If you have any respiratory conditions, you need to make us aware of these conditions before we start the project.

Will there be any dirt residue or dust due to the process?

Our grinders are equipped with Industrial-Vac filters to capture as much dust as possible. However, the particles are quite fine and inevitably some dust will escape.
Before to leave the site we will clean up  the work place.

How long does floor coating last?

An average coating, if maintained properly, can last up to ten years. If you have selected a good product, it can survive for more than 10 years.

I want a specific color for my flooring, are customized colors available?

Of course! Before we begin your installation, we will sit down with you to discuss the vision you have for your new dream floor and find just the right color and texture that suits your preferences and needs. We offer solid, inexpensive floor coatings such as solid epoxies- all the way to opaque, flakes, metallic, pearlescent, 3D and custom designed commercial finishes!

How long should you wait to apply coating after pouring concrete?

Concrete needs to cure for 4 week before epoxy floor coating is applied. A good rule of thumb is to wait 30 days for each inch of concrete depth before treating the floor.
If you just made a self leveling it is necesar 7 days before to apply Epoxy.

Will my floor look like brand new?

The crew will make every attempt to create a smooth finish. The floor will be sanded both ways to provide a smooth surface, but there may still be some exposed chips in the final product. These chips should wear down over time. Rest assured your newly coated floor will now be protected from the damages salt can produce and will have a much more attractive overall appearance.

Is it resistant to hot tire marks?

This factor depends on which coating type you are using. The one from Orgaspaces is not affected by hot tire marks.

Can be shine be brought back?

Another important question concerning the shine of epoxy floors is whether it can be brought back? The shine can be brought back if the epoxy/polyaspartic on top floor gets dull. In fact it is necesar to sand the last epoxy/polyaspartic layer and apply another epoxy/polyaspartic coat to get the necessary results. This process costs much cheaper than new and does not require the removal of the original flooring material.

How do I pay for the service?

We accept payment with cash, check, all major credit cards, bank transfer or INTERAC e-Transfer.
